[Set Episode 1x05 of The Tudors]
It really did seem like a good idea at the time. Though, that wasn't to say he always had the best track record for sound decisions. Reckless was one word that came to mind when thinking about Charles Brandon. Impulsive could well be another adequate description. It usually only fell within the realms of deciding whether to pleasure another man's wife or to draw his sword on a man who deigned to insult the King in a fit of drunken arrogance. Never had he let himself get so caught up in the moment as to betray the King... betray Henry, his closest friend. It was beyond stupid and the consequences hadn't even crossed his mind when he chose to spontaneously propose to Margaret on the journey home to England after she suffocated her new husband - the King of Portugal.
( But now. Now he had betrayed Henry... )

crowdedhour | RPG
Mar. 19th, 2010 10:56 pmCharles has been accepted into the multifandom RPG, crowdedhour. Looking forward to throwing him into a modern-day setting, despite the game being set in a castle. I think the lad could use a bit of confusion and shake up in his life ;) He's an interesting voice to have in my muse head. He'll make his debut over there over the weekend when I can write up his entry.
